Julie started guitar at the age of 10 and piano at the age of 11. Practicing was always a joy for her!
She discovered the love of teaching in junior high when she taught her best friend how to play guitar. She began teaching guitar professionally while in high school and then added teaching piano professionally while in college studying music and drama at Catholic University. She performed in various groups as well as solo performances.
In 1990, Julie began teaching group and private piano lessons, preschool music and movement along with creative dramatics in various schools and camps in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties. In 1993, Julie moved her business home after purchasing a house with her husband and has been teaching there ever since.
